Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Mikaela Titheridge

Hey Craft lovers! welcome to todays Crazy Crafters Blog Hop! Today we are hopping with special guest Mikaela Titheridge over at The Crafty oINK Pen! It was an absolute pleasure looking through her amazing blog at all her wonderful projects! No matter how far back I went I kept coming back to the same project of hers and I knew that this was the one I had to case for today's project.

I love the simplicity of this card and the use of embossing folders, I only have two myself at the moment and I always forget to use them, reaching for my stamps and pretty papers instead. I wanted to make use out of the folders I have so I thought this card would be a great way to get me into using them.

I love the way this turned out and I think I will have to use the embossing folders a little more from now on. My cousin's baby boy turned 1 yesterday and i needed a card for him so I thought this would be a cool layout to work with.

I hope you enjoyed my contribution to this hop! Make sure you don't miss any of the amazing projects, so whether you started here or have been hopping around the other blogs already please use the list below to navigate your way around to them all! I know I will be!

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Georgia Giguere

Welcome to the second Crazy Crafters Blog Hop for February, this time we are have the pleasure of being joined by special guest Georgia Giguere. After scouring her blog of amazing projects, I finally managed to narrow it down to one card I wanted to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) for today's blog hop. I highly recommend having a look around her blog sometime when you have time to spare as she has some amazing cards there, you can get to the blog post that inspired me by clicking the image below.

I hope you have been enjoying the blog hop so far, whether you have been with this hop from the beginning or have only just stumbled across it I highly recommend using the list at the bottom of this post to find your way to all the other amazing creators taking part today.

For today's card i was inspired by Georgia's layout and I wanted to have a play with it, my first instinct was to make a valentines day card with this layout, which I did sit down and do until I realized the day of this hop would be after the fact. I will still put a picture of that card at the bottom but I didn't want that to be the main card knowing it wouldn't help anyone until next year.

Instead I decided to play with the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle, I am in love with this bundle it is so much fun and as much as I love using butterflies in projects it's fun having the other option. So without further ado here is my card for the hop, I decided to go with a cooler colour scheme then Georgia's card using one of my favourite colours Island Indigo.

I had so much fun playing with this layout and am so grateful to Georgia for allowing us to Hop with her and CASE her cards. As promised here is the valentines day one I made as well, if I remade this one I would make the forward heart grey for a bit more contrast.

That's it from me for today, make sure you use the list below to check out all the other blogs! If you wanted to make either of my cards you will find lists of the products at the bottom of this post, have a great day and I will see you soon.

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Shannon Lane

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop! This is my first one since resigning with Stampin' Up! and I am so excited to be a part of it! Today we are hopping with the very talented Shannon Lane, and the theme of the hop today is to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) one of her amazing cards. If you haven't seen her cards before be sure to check her out, you won't be disappointed.

I hope you have enjoyed the blog hop so far, make sure you haven't missed any of the projects by following the links at the bottom of this post, you won't be disappointed!

For this hop I came across the above card by Shannon, and although I thought I wouldn't have time to join in this hop I was instantly inspired by it and hope you like my masculine take on the amazing and effective layout she used. I just loved the simplicity of the card and how she made it pop by layering textures behind the main image and I had to give it a go.

This card came together so quickly and easily with the help of Shannon's beautiful card to lead the way and I am so thrilled with the different textures and elements of it.

That's it from me for now, make sure you get around and check out everyone's amazing creations from the below list, and I hope to see you again for the next Crazy Crafter's blog hop!

Crazy Crafters & Pootlers Blog Hop

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters & Pootlers Blog Hop for December. This month we are excited to show off our "2016 Occasions / Sale-a-bration Sneak Peeks". We hope you find great inspiration from the projects. You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog or may have come from the person previous to me Rosalie Desmond. Be sure to click on the next button further down to continue your journey on this blog hop.
This month we have very exciting news that we have the famous Pootles - Sam Hammond Donald and her lovely team playing along with us! All the way from the UK. We are thrilled that they said yes to playing along with the Crazy Crafters this month as Sam is VERY talented and has a following all around the world. Thanks Sam and her team. x

When I saw the new Occasions catalog I fell in love immediately with the Rose Wonder stamp set and Rose Garden Thinlits and knew I just had to get that bundle. So these are the products I have chosen to showcase for you today.

I decided to try and keep this card simple compared to my usual efforts, something I find a challenge but I love how it turned out. I used Mint Macaron and Blushing bride on this card and used the Perfectly Artistic designer series paper you can get free through Sale-a-bration when you order a qualifying amount to layer behind the rose.

I hope you enjoyed viewing my card and thank you so much for stopping by. Don't forget to keep hopping around and view all the other amazing projects by both teams, I know I will be.
